Just got mine in! Turns out the entire body besides the tail is made out of translucent plastic, absolutely love this guy easily my second favorite design behind the isolation design, amazing review btw definitely gonna sub!

I haven't received mine yet, but other reviewers have the same blue paint on the scorched dome as well. I think it represenst the electric pulses that were left inside Scorched Xeno's head after Bjorn hurt it with the taser. It could have been done better.

mines in the mail right now, cant wait for it to arrive! gotta say i love the casual-ness of this unboxing/review, loved hearing you talk about the movie and the designs. personally i dont see as much of the ressurection elements in romulus, it definitely feels to me like a hybrid of isolation, alien, and aliens, but i can also see the bits and pieces from the others (especially the third act, lol)

Nice to see they've started to ship out. I live in Europe, so might take slightly longer for me to get the NECA Store bundle pre-order. I have four of them in total on pre-order - a few more from other places, but I honestly might buy even more. I think this release turned out as nice as I expected... never really doubted it, though. They always come through.

Great review thanks for putting it up. Seeing several people getting their shipped already. I pre-ordered mine as soon as they went up to these with the creature packs. My tracking hasn’t shown it shipped yet that it processed back in July when I ordered it. Can’t wait to have them in aliens is my favorite and sci-fi movie of all time.

Thanks for posting this, I received mine yesterday and I cant decide whether I want to open it or not 😂 it’s so cool! Got the accessory pack too, for loose joints I have a solution I got off of amazon that seems to fix the issue. I have the fireteam elite figures but the spitters legs were always super loose, the solution fixed it right up for me!

The color on the dome could be the spark that happens.

If u saw the behind the scenes you could see how the coccoon melted some material to make up more space, it just wasnt shown
Plus it was in a fetal position and was probably growing every few seconds

I think i remember in the movie when the xenomorph was in its cocoon, they torched it with electrocution, probably burning it on the inside.
