This videos has inaccuracies. Mayan civilization did not decline into a few villages. Sites were abandoned but cities persisted in the north until Spanish conquest, and civilization got restarted in the south by new kingdoms. Also, the Inca weren't Mesoamerican. Peru is not in the area you defined at the start of the video. Moreover, agriculture is not that young. There are cities contemporaneous to Egypt and Mesopotamia.

A few inaccuracies, for example, the thought behind human sacrifice was a bit more nuanced. It was thought as a repaying of a blood debt. In the creation myth humans were maid with maize and the blood of the gods. So it was a repaying of that debt, and any sacrificial victim was thought as a messenger to the gods and thus in high regard.

The Incas were not part of the Mesoamerican civilizations. The cover picture is Machu Picchu, so I wouldn't relate to the information in this video. Advice from a Mexican (actually a part of Mesoamerica) anthropologist and history teacher.
