Ahhh!!! It makes me so sad to see all the negative comments because I LOVE THIS SHOW. I thought season 10 was amazing and am so excited for season 11! Ngl, was hard to watch for a bit when she picked Lucas, but slowly warmed up to it. I love the governor role he will take on and think it’s made for him and what was meant to be for him. NOW theres the possibility Elizabeth will be with Nathan I am ecstatic but also don’t want to get my hopes up, I think they’ve got to be together though! Love, love, love it!!!

Season 10 brought me back after I stopped watching because of the S8 finale. So glad to have my favorite show back! It feels like it did in earlier seasons... focusing on faith, community, forgiveness, redemption. Hoping Elizabeth will begin to open her heart again & "do what she's afraid to do" next season. A BIG "Thank you" to Lindsay & the writing team, etc. Well done!

Elizabeth was originally from a city and a prominent family. She knew better than anyone else(except maybe, Rosemary) what being a governor’s wife would entail. She left that world for a reason. I think she loved Lucas but just couldn’t expose herself and little Jack to that rigid life in society that could stab you in the back while smiling to your face. It wasn’t the life she wanted. Maybe she should have realized before her feelings about Nathan, but she didn’t want to admit them to herself. I personally hope that she just stays by herself for a while and takes time to really evaluate her heart.

Season 10 was a real joy to watch. Lots of love, community, feel-good and what-will-happen-next events. It's not easy making a story interesting for everybody, but I think the writers succeeded. Looking forward to the next chapter of this long running series.

Holy moly, all the negative comments. E has gone through a grief of loosing her beloved husband. Everyones griefs differently, and through different stages. Nathan was always her first choices, but were to afraid to open her heart. She was affraid of loosing him to. So yes, Lucas was her safe choice, and really tried to make it work.

It looks like the retconning was not even thought out properly. This sort of dishonesty with your fans in your writing may ring the death knell for this show.

And we have writers & Erin Krakow "telling" us Lucas wants the big city lights, he and Elizabeth want different things and politics intrigues him ! Lol what !!!
Everyone pushed him to save the town they would lose if not for him and they spent 3 years "showing" us how much he wanted to find a place where he called home and start a family and why Jack & Elizabeth meant the world to him.

I like Elizabeth and Nathan so I hope it continues in that direction. Lucas really didn’t make sense, since he represented the life she left behind.

The teaser says there is a change : 100 percent this is not the same Elizabeth we admired and fell in love with. I've never grown this disenchanted with a character or felt deceived by a show's writing.

We could have accepted that their paths had to diverge and women call off engagements all the time - but in the last few episodes you make it look like Elizabeth & Lucas didn't have the passionate committed relationship we watched unfold over the last 3 years by making Elizabeth say " I wasn't following my heart" ( reducing every decision and act of love in the last 3 years a farce )

Since season 7, i saw that Lucas and Fiona were a perfect match, they had the same view of life and they were both business oriented. And in that same season, you could see that Lucas was not the right person for Elisabeth, the clues were there but the writers decided to do otherwise and have Elizabeth get engaged: that relationship should have ended before the marriage proposal.I can understand the disappointment of people.
I just hope after a deserved time alone, Elisabeth will finally have a relationship that will lead to marriage, we don't want her to change her mind at the last minute again😅, Nathan has suffered enough.

So excited for Season 11 to come out. I am hoping Lucas will be ok. Hated the cliffhanger with Nathan and Elizabeth, but that is the way it goes.

People absolutely love the redemption and forgiveness of Henry, but can't offer the same grace to Elizabeth who is trying to figure out her heart after losing her husband.
