Judith is quite a dark song taken from the album 'Mer de Noms', released in 2000, featuring Tool's vocalist Maynard James Keenan who also wrote the lyrics referring to his mother Judith's strong believe in Christianity in spite of a personal stroke of fate.

This forced me to go back to the original as it had been some time since I have heard 'Judith', I must say that your take on this tune was inspiring and most worthy of repeated play. You certainly are proceeding at break-neck speed in 2018 -- and I must say that I enjoy the ride! You have always impressed with your ability to handle intricate rhythms and syncopation, yet in the last six months you have honed fundamentals with your attack, tom and cymbal work that have really tightened your groove and increased even more the space for your inflections of style -- which always has been one of your greatest strengths. This song is so sad. Maynard wrote the lyrics about his mother who had a stroke and was in a wheel chair. Excellent job on a complicated piece.
