Tbh yeah inspiration makes things have more expression and pop and just ripping it off no one would buy/have it

I often do a lot of researching when I'm working on a new customer's project. The downside of operating the whole thing solo is that it eats up a lot of time and can often be a bottleneck to get anything done at all. The added benefit of having the same repeat customers is you know exactly what design style they are looking for so my production and turn around times are usually quicker. However, I'm my own worst enemy when it comes to being original, even if I already have my clients vision preformulated on 'paper', somewhere along the creative process I go down some rabit holes and maybe go a bit more overboard then what would be necessary but I guess thats why my customers keep coming back?
