Thank you for your video. I actually have the hard copy of the FBI clearance already, in addition to the emailed copy.

Am I required to send it to the state dept unopened?

I thought I saw something which said don’t open the envelop.

was the background check the only document you needed to have apostilled? looking at the same process (spanish student visa)

Hi, Something is still a little unclear to me. I have read conflicting advice. If you send the original FBI report for the apostille some say you do not need it to be notarized. Others say if you send the PDF copy that you received by email it needs to be notarized. What do you know?

-how long ago did you apply for the Apostle? right now they are saying it takes 10-11 weeks for processing time upon arrival of the application.
