Your 11 p.m. Greater Cleveland and Northeast Ohio weather forecast for Dec. 27, 2024: We will catch a break from the rain through most of Saturday. Shower chances will be limited and brief through the afternoon. Widespread rain will be returning by Sunday morning.
A secondary low will take shape Saturday night bringing a surge of warmth and humidity by Sunday. This spring-like environment could generate a gusty thunderstorm of two. The Storm Prediction Center has outlined our southern counties under a 1 out of 5 Sunday afternoon. There is a low-end threat of gusty winds and hail.
You will need the rain gear Sunday. Showers will be heavy at times. Showers will linger into the Browns game.
On the backside of this storm cold air will rush in. Rain will changing over to snow by Monday morning with gusty winds. This could lay down a slushy an inch or two before moving out. Minor impacts from Monday's snow with afternoon highs warming into the 40s.
