so they actually took a concept from apex mobile for the events. Neat. Compute nodes where kind of cool for season teasers and upcoming content, but this is a nice change of pace for actual progression

Its a little bit like the iron crown event back in Season 2. You could earn iron crowns with which you could buy skins, music packs, banners etc.

I hope (but doubt) they will do this in every future event, at least the collection events

Well this might be the nail in the coffin for me for apex. Ive been playing since day 1 and i refuse to play BR anymore i only play mixtape and with this change if i physically cant do the "prize tracker" in mixtape then theres literally 0 reason for me to play the game other than the already shitty battlepass.

this season's free rewards from events has been a bit underwhelming .... past seasons had 2 free legendary skins, trackers etc, i hope there is at least 1 surprise free legendary item on the next event
