A-Level Spanish speaking exam incl IRP. Student's gobsmacking knowledge about Messi.

Показать описание
A great example of an A-Level Spanish exam. Spanish IRP on Lionel Messi and a candidate who is really knowledgeable and convincing.
Timings and format of the card vary from one exam board to the other but the sequence should be:
-card: candidate picks 2 and chooses 1 or picks 1 from a whole lot of cards, (depending on the exam board). Candidate then answers questions on the card or agrees with a statement. Examiner may ask other questions, different to those on the card. Worth paying attention to the candidate's fluency, great opinions and analytical responses, not rehearsed but completely natural.
-2-minute presentation of IRP.
-Discussion and further questions about the topic of the IRP. Finlay's knowledge on Messi and the FCB really impressed me.
Finlay kindly accepted to record this video so that other students had a clear idea of what an A-level Spanish speaking exam is like.
The intention of the video is not to grade Finlay's Spanish, although you'll agree with me that he is very good, but to show a good example and to help others. No conversation is perfect, as it has hesitations, interruptions, grammatical errors, gaps... coming from either student or examiner (even if they are native speakers like myself!)
We hope it helps all AS and A-level students who have a speaking exam coming soon.
Many thanks to Finlay and his Mum for accepting the challenge.
