This is good, but some information and examples are not exactly correct. Its not unknown how these systems keep working. They are powered by an RTG which lasts for up to 50 years. Also this RTG isn't leeching energy, its just producing less. Some of the information is presented as an unknown yet it is known. The scientist knew Voyager would leave the solar system. What they are surprised about was that is was able to keep communications. They always intended for it to keep going forever into the stars. It has a message to any advanced life on board as well.
