#FREQUENCY
the frequency of waves is defined as the number of waves generated by a source in a unit
time
2) #TimePeriod
it is defined as the time taken by an oscillating particle to complete one up & down cycle as one cycle of the wave passes by it
3) #Amplitude
it is the distance b/w the crest, i.e the highest point on the waves pattern, and the normal ( undisturbed ) position
4) #WaveLength
The wavelength can be defined as the distance between two successive crests or troughs of a wave. It is measured in the direction of the wave.
This means the longer the wavelength, the lower the frequency
. In the same manner, the shorter the wavelength, the higher will be the frequency.
5)#WaveVelocity
The distance traveled by a wave in one second is called the velocity of the wave or speed of the wave. Its S.I. unit is meters per second (m/s). Velocity = Distance travelled/Time taken.
