Union FM Nirmala consults state finance ministers ahead of her 2nd Budget

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman met her counterparts from state and Union Territory governments on Wednesday. The meeting was held to discuss the upcoming Union Budget. State finance ministers gave suggestions on growth, investment and fiscal policy. Discussions were also held on Centre-state cooperation. Sitharaman has been meeting industry representatives as well to seek their views and suggestions on the Budget.
