Is the A321XLR really unsafe? Or are Boeing’s accusations financially motivated?
In this video I shed the light on the history of the most prominent safety issues in history that led to grounding an aircraft type, I excluded the grounding of just a batch that has a specific engine type for example. The focus was on safety issues that made all aircraft of the type unsafe.
Please see below sources as well as detail technical info.

Considering what happened with the 737 Max, Boeing is not in a good position to give safety lessons to Airbus !

As intriguing as it sounds what Boeing are referring to (the extra fuel tank in the cargo hold), I can't imagine Airbus weren't well aware of how that might sound, including from all the airlines (who got fed-up waiting for the 757 replacement, let's be honest) who have placed a ton of orders with Airbus . I call dirty tricks on

I'd say let Boeing get it's own safety house in order finally. Airbus should and will do the same.

Thanks for saying that money and share price ranks above safety. Boeing is now a failure because of this thinking. For those reading this also consider that these factors apply to the airline you fly.

Boeing is in panic month after month. Today they are on the edge to become a niche plane maker. Specialized in the large air freighters.... Qantas and Air France KLM are not the last to switch to Airbus for the narrow body range. With the A220 and the A321 XLR, Airbus is killing slowly the B737 MAX.

No point for Boeing to scare with Airbus. This is competition in business

Just software update the fuel tanks like Boeing would do

You don"t have to be an experts to see if the fuel tank is bigger, if something happen the passengers are going to be in more trouble

Airbus is the one that doesn't pay taxes either.

Yhat is design short cut, fuel tank must be far away as much as the designer can from passenger cabin, you are like parking a fuel tanker near your sleeping room.
