The fact that he is enjoying what he does is just fascinating

I love how no one took their masks off and there was no ridiculous drama like in those saf shows.

The danger that you are not seeing right now is the 25 plus years of carcinogens that they are exposed to when fighting fires. One of my neighbors who was a fire captain went for his 50 year old colonoscopy and he had 56 polyps. Thyroid, colon, and prostate cancers are common for fire fighters.

Great respect to a profession that has too often paid an heavy tribute.

My coworker was a fireman for a couple decades and he said the worst part is the distinct smell of a burnt body. You hope and pray that it was a dog or a cat and not a person, but its a smell he will never be able to forget

Having done this magnificent job for well over 30 years, had to laugh at the nozzleman's "exuberance" at having a good fire to fight. Having the "nob" on a good working fire is as much fun on your last day on the job as it was the first day on the job. When I started the job way too many years ago to remember, the air packs and other safety items (like the hoods) were optional or not available. We sucked a tremendous amount of heated air, smoke and other bad stuff. For days after a good working fire we would blow black gunk out of our that reason, working fires like this, were referred to as "snot slingers". Strong work, my safe and love the will be over way too soon.

I'm a fire cadet about to finish firefighter level 1 and seeing the pov excites me at what I'm about to experience later on

A highly dangerous, but (i expect) a highly rewarding job. I have so much respect for people like these guys. You never know what's going to greet you on entering a burning building. The ceiling or some part of the structure could fall on you and crush you to death, or trap you in a seriously hot fire, you also dont know if something is going to explode and kill you, or maybe maime you. It must be a frightening career being a firefighter IMO

Much respect to firemen; that is one scary and dangerous job.

It's not about saving the house, it's about saving the neighbourhood.

This is the best PSA I've ever seen for being sure you practice fire safety in the house.

It is amazing what you can get done when you go inside and get water on a fire quickly.

The amount of water that hose is dumping to squelch that fire that fast is incredible. A garden hose would have it’s water evaporate before it even touched the wall. He is firing a river at that fire.

The day you hear someone yell like this 0:42 you know they love what they do

Firefighters say us cops are nuts, we say they’re nuts. We both do dangerous and often thankless work. I’m glad to be retired and I salute all of my active duty public safety officers and pray for their safety.

I live in a rural area near Athens in Greece and every summer we have major wildfires all around. Thankfully none really close to my area but still wildfires terrify me. I can only imagine how someone feels while watching their home being burned to the ground. Hats off to firefighters for risking their lives to help others, they are true heroes. Oh and that brofist at the end was really wholesome, it's great to see real team spirit in action.
