This was one of those Saturday afternoon movies that imI grew up with ages ago. I dont remember much of it, except for the rock monsters which creeped me out 3😊
It's one of those movies where, when you find it on youtube 50 or 60 yrs later you think " omg! I remember this!"

The rock monsters reminded me of Gumby on steroids. By the way they walked so slow you could take an hour nap before they even reached you. The spider was priceless. It's amazing what they can do with paper mâché! Ah, the good old days before computer simulation! I was 2 years old when they made this epic classic.

Drive-in movie stuff. Anybody remember those? Huge screen in front of of dozens of cars, all parked on a slight incline, with heavy metal speakers hanging from the window. Mostly go there to make out, or kick back and eat popcorn, candy, hot dogs. Or just make out. In the back seat. And fog up the windows. You needed a good back seat, because 2 separate seats up front were painful.

I bet this was filmed at Vasquez Rocks Natural Area Park. I think it’s 30 miles or so outside of Los Angeles. A bunch of Star Trek episodes were filmed there original series and next generation.
