Why is it that Catholics changed their observance of the Holy Days to a calendar not based off of the Bible of Barley Ripening/New Moons, to an equinox observance to have the Resurrection day, or feast of first fruits to be the anchor of the holy days rather than the 15th of day of the biblical 1st month which is the beginning of Passover.

Our church, Newberg First United Methodist Church is having a communion service to celebrate our Christ's Last Supper...and then like all good Methodists, we're having a potluck afterwards! 😅😂

Maudy Thursday? ...sounds very Anglican to me, the terminology sounds a little trite as they usually put things. They love traditions.

It’s wrong to worship God the same way pagans do.

BS! Jesus was Jewish he celebrated Jewish holidays and tradition. The last supper was the *Passover* meal celebrated by the Jewish/Ancient Hebrew community.

“… On the first day of the Festival of Unleavened Bread, the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Where do you want us to make preparations for you to eat the Passover?” …” Matthew 26:17

“… On the first day of the Festival of Unleavened Bread, when it was customary to sacrifice the Passover lamb, Jesus’ disciples asked him, “Where do you want us to go and make preparations for you to eat the Passover?” …” Mark 14:12

“…Then came the day of Unleavened Bread on which the Passover lamb had to be sacrificed. …” Luke 22:7

Jesus celebrated the passover meal i.e. His last supper. So He could be the sacrificial lamb for the entire world. What this video is spewing is ancient Roman Catholic tradition which is rooted in skewed biblical text intertwined with pagan celebration of the vernal equinox.

Does it matter if it is Jesus in your heart and not the paganism? Only God the Father knows, ask Him.
