James, thank you for your video brother! What a fantastic informative step by step refresh i needed to jump right into my new position. I am transferring into dry cement division, its been yrs since I operated pneumatic trailer. Back when we carried dead blows to knock product loose. Great video to bring us old school guys into the new world of new convenient equipment!! Very impressed that you touched on “customer vent valves, operational PSI & blower cool down!! Very important & hard learned lessons when its your money & life at stake! Thanks again!!

I'd keep the bottom "jet/product" line open when you first engage the blower to ease the strain on it, manually turn your fan on if you have the option too. Both of those will help your blower last a little longer. At the end let it run at idle for a minute or two to cooldown before disengaging, most common issue I've seen is drivers immediately shutting it down, and then they wonder why their blower needs to be replaced every year lol. (EDIT: I see this was addressed in the video, very nice.)

Also to some of you new fellas don't use a metal hammer on these tanks, you're just asking to die with that one. (I'm still at the beginning of the video so this part isn't in response to anything this driver did lol I just see it a lot)

Some trucking company near me has bulk tankers for this commodity. I see jobs ads one in a while from them.

I’m considering dry bulk. But have bad knees. I’m wondering how often one needs to climb on top of those beasts?

I'm unloading Limestone powder from a 6 Cone Bulk Trailer with its own compressor motor on it, no truck. I'm loading into a silo, would this process still apply? Thank you. Also, does it matter which end of the trailer i unload from first? My hose is on the tail into the silo. Is there a rule of thumb to follow about where to start your unload.

Does cement ever start curing inside the truck itself? If so, how do you prevent that?

How’s the new truck handling the hard work now

Why does noone ever replace the bad gauges on these trailers... drives me up the wall. I've put in repair reqs several times on a few of ours and they won't touch'em.

You asked about questions. What are your recommendations if you get a clog?
