It's April 2025... 10 years ago I got my first and only nice acoustic, a Taylor 618e. Ordered it in early March 2015 and in that 6 weeks I had to wait for delivery, I was searching and found Tommy on YouTube. Getting that guitar and finding Tommy at the same time was beyond amazing. Got to see him live in January 2020, front row, wow. He's the best, and Drivetime is my favorite, hands down.

It took me about 25 hours over a 2 week period but I finally learned this piece. Probably take another year to make it presentable but it will have to be slower paced! "Drive Slow Time". Thanks Tommy, every tune of yours I learn makes me a better player and makes my guitar sound even better!

Tommy, I don't have words to describe how much I profoundly esteem you.

I could listen to him playing for days and never get bored. Isn't him the best, most technical guitarist these days? Having the best teachers one guitar lover could have has paid off.
I'll never forget the day he's come to my city in concert, he was with Mike Dawes, I loved every single moment of that evening, he is capable of making people who never listened to good music dance.

What a great talent and man. If you have never seen him perform live you are only receiving half the magic of the greatest guitarist/entertainer who ever lived. I have seen him 8 times now, plus a workshop, and he inspires me to keep working on my music. More importantly take a young person to see him and perhaps they will aspire to be the next TE.
