I had my worst trade

Here’s a complete breakdown on my $23k trade in Platinum.

I’m so grateful to be able to share this trade with you guys because even though I made money, I managed to not follow my strategy.

Being a trader and a content creator is not as easy as it looks like

I just want to be able to trade and document the journey BUT there are times where you feel the need of taking profits early just to create some content about it.

I know I know, If I’m a profitable trader you should be able to follow your strategy…

Don’t get me wrong I do follow my strategy, and I’m documenting this so you have a realistic side of what real profitable traders do in their trading.

I try to remember the analogy of the glass of water being half full or half empty. We can focus on the empty part, the extra profit on the trade we closed early and be frustrated that we didn't get more, or we can focus on the great profit we made on a trade and just not worry about the extra profit we almost had. Sometimes I am able to do this, and sometimes I start focusing on the extra profit I almost had.

so true I think even after taking a break from trading its hard to adjust from observing and not reacting especially when the profit goes Back to entry or the excitement of cashing out and buying something one wants instead of sticking out the play

Need more details on the details...like are you leveraging, how big are your trades. Your Get in and get out flags and why you only have 6 trades. You say we are seeing your moves, but not really, we just hear mostly your feelings.

Hey, Tori. I enjoy your videos. I also wanted to say it was no coincidence the price went up after the candle you got in on. If you notice, it was a large candlestick. Those are institutional candles like big banks and stuff. They're the only ones that can make a candlestick that large.

When they get in at the right location, usually after a large sell-off like the exact one on your chart, the price is going in their direction since they usually control the price. If I had to guess, it probably happened somewhere below the 20 period moving average too or somewhere in that location. It's a lovely setup. Congrats on the win.

Never kick yourself for taking a profit. Agonizing about if I coulda, shoulda, woulda is wasted thought. Analyze what you may have missed and move on. You know that staying to long can be disastrous.

Hey Tori, I’ve just started to implement your trading style and I’ve moved from the 1hr chart to the 4h now usinf trend lines and resistance. So far so good! Platinum seemes to respect that trend line so well!
