Just info, I've seen many reviewers complain about this although they (manufacturers) do it on purpose, the reason than these gaming phone stil have a significant top and bottom bezel, is to avoid mistouch and palm rejection issue when playing games, because even though a lot of phone don't have the curve edge, the full screen real estate still giving some annoying misstouch or so call ghost touch to us competitive gamers

The Blackshark 3 pro is a real contestant with thst insane customization. Even so, I'm going to have to choose the Redmagic due to the higher refresh rate and cooling fan built-in; that thing is just too cool!

Redmagic 5g is better because of 144hz, cooling fan inside, easy to use game console vs BS3pro, but what if the device fell off and the cooling fan was broken? And what do you do with dust? Is the RM5g is dust resistant? Notice me.

I brought the 256gb Red Magic 5G over the blackshark for the triggers. The BS3Pro was just too big a phone and I wanted the triggers.
Both are great. I can confirm the magic adaptor works as advertised.

About the capacitive trigger button of red magic. Would it still work if you put a back protector over it?

I would choose the Black Shark 3 ; because the type C ports usually stop charging after half a year. I prefer to buy phones with micro USB or wireless charging and that magnetic charging looks as good as the wireless charging.

the most important feature for gaming for both phones is the shoulder buttons.
