US President Joe Biden and the First Lady Jill Biden greet Kenyan President William Ruto and First Lady Rachel Ruto of Kenya in a State Arrival Ceremony on the South Lawn. Ruto arrived in Washington as his country is preparing to deploy 1,000 police officers to Haiti to take part in a U.N.-led security effort in the Caribbean nation. Biden and Ruto will hold formal talks and a joint news conference on Thursday before a state dinner.
