How to splice LeadCore! Carp fishings tips!

Another tip I've found helpful would be once you've formed the splice but before you tighten it, trim the tag end as close as possible to where you just pulled through, now tighten and everything will be smooth and there will be no sign of the splice what so ever. I tried with 35lb leadcore and really struggled when pulling the loop back. I'm assuming with 45lb would be a lot easier. Was wondering what material were you using to demonstrate the process. Great tutorial thanks for sharing.

What brand of leadcore is in the video . I’ve found some easier to splice than others due to the tightness of the outer weave 🙂
