A Jigsaw Of New Bonnet Panels | 1969 Triumph GT6 Mk2 Restoration | Pt 15

In this video we're trying to make sense of the jigsaw of new and old bonnet panels on the GT6 Mk2! The bonnet was part disassembled when the car arrived, so there's no guarantee that anything is the right shape... It takes a lot of trial and error! Of course, some more rust repair with basic workshop tools is also needed along the way.

It's a difficult shaped bonnet when in good condition, but trying to reshape it with rust and possible accident damage is no easy job. well done you to get it looking good. Have a good week. Bob

I suspect that no two will be the same and agree with your plan to tack it and get it on the vehicle.Then tailor it to fit.

Definitely a puzzle. I had to make similar repairs on my mk1 bonnet.
