best feeling isn’t it, I got 3/12 on my first a level psychology essay and the teacher said I didn’t understand anything, now I work at Cambridge university in psychiatric research. Never let people or past low grades hold you back 💪🏼

Why did your chem teacher say that to you? I'd like to hear more about that. Seems like a terrible thing for a teacher to say to a student, esp a female student, but what was the context, so we may understand better? Were they somehow trying to motivate you, maybe? Or was it misogyny? Or what?

Why not become gynecologist and obstetrics or do general practice and focus on women's health instead of just being an untrained doctor whos a women's health influencer?

I get you. My Portuguese teacher (equivalent to your English one) said I would never do something relevant and that my parents should be able to provide for me my entire life, bc I seemed to have “the head in the clouds” in her class and my questions sounded dumb (ps: I’m very introverted, so my questions were always class/ subject related, which’s part of her job to answer lol). This same teacher also said, at certain point, that she could clearly picture when students weren’t going too far and proceeded to say “to these students… Idk! Try to become an artist or do something easy like that!”. Hearing that from someone who also teaches literature (which’s one of the traditional art forms) is WILD!
I was a sophomore, at the time (my country counts freshman as elementary, not high school, so it was my first year), only at 13 years old, at a full day school (that graduated students on an average high school diploma, as well as a business certificate). I was a burned out child (I wanted an average school, but I couldn’t go to one for reasons I’d have to give context on how schools work in here)! I graduated by 16 (not in there, bc I had to move to another state), graduated in ballet around 18 as a trainee in a company, had a year or so to “breath” (the p4ndem1c forced me to, as well), will be majoring in architecture & urbanism school at around 24 and enrolling at civil engineering school as soon as I find it possible (after graduation AU school and settling on a job). God gave me some strength I didn’t know I had, but I remember how those words cut deep, as a minor. I may a person like this never crosses one’s life, but if they do, pretend they’re just flies talking a bunch of stuff they surround themselves with (trash). I may God bless you!

Held on to that huh? Is that true or just making up nonsense for internet clout? What’s the teachers name?
