Even after the gun upgrade I still feel the nose of the ship should be pushed back a bit and be in line with the S4 gun it now has,

it keeps the Crusader theme of doors, doors, and more doors. but it breaks the theme by providing an alternative egress method.

It's probably 50-55 USD. It has to be cheaper than the Titan. The Titan has the same scu, but is more capable in combat and overall speed.

with an interior this spacious, the intrepid feels more like a luxury ship than the 100i. like, the 100i has the luxury *branding*, but the intrepid has actual luxury

Thank you for mentioning the missile loadout, other recent reviews seemed to have missed that. I was hoping it might follow the pattern of the Ares and have a ton of missiles, but I guess not:( The other calling card of Crusader is speed, so does it seem faster then most of the current starters?

I am very curious to know whether any of the bikes can be maneuvered onto one of the cargo lifts, or if there isn't enough height

I'm happy they upguned it to a s4, but I think they should remove the missiles and add more guns. I don't think it should be a s5 (as some people have suggested) but maybe add like a pair of s1s on the nose to accompany the s4.

CIG upped that tiny pew pew to a S4 repeater pretty quickly. Good on them! The Intrepid is still shockingly ugly but the larger S4 does improve the asymmetrical look. I can't help but think a S5 would further help its troubling looks and would certainly bump it to a higher starter weight class. Regardless of having a S4 or S5 gun, I'm strongly advocating a second S1 shield, given the cargo and hull dimensions. I hear the Intrepid is maneuverable and tough; having mediocre firepower is less important if it has competitive shielding. Responding to the video, I have a Syulen and can confirm that it's not combat capable enough for its Pledge Store price; it's very, very pretty and has responsive flight controls but needs better combat performance (particularly defensive) especially when compared to the cheaper Titan. The price and balance Titan and it's peers are their own topic but they do set the stage for the Pledge Store price the community is willing to accept for the intrepid without backlash. The S5 gun I'm seeing some community members ask for and/or the two S1 shields like I'm advocating will increase the Intrepid's value--to a point. It should go without saying that whatever the Intrepid's finalized loadout is, it needs to be priced appropriately to be received well.

I think the problem with Asymmetry is it needs to be balanced with weight. The Drake Corsair is a great example. If they added more to the gun side it would have felt better.
