Why A Certain Ratio were never huge is beyond me. Amazing band. So atmospheric.

This is such a truly sublime song. The album Force is still a timeless listen to this day - their first album that veered in the more consciously commercial direction they later took once they left Factory (this was their final album for the label) and signed with A&M (scoring their biggest hit in 1990 with a reworked version of The Big E - retitled Won't Stop Loving You)

I love the way the best tracks on this sublime album build towards an ECM-like jazzy cacophony Those who dispraise them for 'commercialism' weren't listening, surely.
