Fully agree, us black people, we need to accept the fact that we've contributed a lot to the situation in which we now find ourselves. No one is going to save us, no one should, no one can, no one but ourselves

We pray for South Africa and God will restore this nation and heal all the broken hearted.

Black man born in 1987 I know exactly how you feel. Chill out, have a blunt, be kind to all but don't take any shit from anyone - black, white, blue, red doesn't matter. Always kind and polite but ready to defend yourself and your family with your life and/or your freedom

I am a black South African woman and I work so hard everyday of my life without looking back in the past. I work with my two white male colleagues and I don’t want them to be harassed in anyway because I love them.
Bear in mind that majority of blacks are still allowing to be influenced by politicians. I don’t trust Zimbabwe’s either because them and the other Africans have been motivating black South Africans to treat white South Africans bad or kick them out of African.
Most of Black South Africans that are awake has been standing with you and standing for Rainbow nation. I personally believe we as all South Africans irrespective of the colour can build this nation again in peace and love ❤❤❤

Hats off to you. I am also a white person; born in 1985. I was just 7 years old when apartheid ended. I didn't even know what that was until one incident at church in 1994 where I as a young child witnessed a black man, who I believe was moved by the holy spirit, came into the church dancing and praising God being taken by his arms and carried out of the church by white men 😞 I remember asking my parents why? Why? 😢 My little heart broke for that man! I couldn't understand. After church my parents told me that what those men did was wrong. We never went back to that church again. I was raised by parents who taught me to love and respect everyone. As I grew up I heard many stories, bad and some good but mostly my parents told me about what they know or heard of what happened to black people because of ignorance and hate. Now 39; I grew up under a government who has been systematically oppressing me due to the colour of my skin. This governments laws and policies unjustly discriminates against my ethnicity citing 'redress' for injustices of the previous government. My privilege: I was born white. Both my grandparents came out of poor households. My parents worked hard for everything they had. They had car loans, house loans etc. No free hand outs. None. My sin is that I am white and for my entire life I believed that somehow everyone can live and work together. I understood the need for black empowerment but, it has become clear to me that the way the government implemented black empowerment in part came out of the NP's playbook (marginalize, opress).

You're telling the truth brother as a white boer i fully agree with you and those who keep saying south Africa is their land needs to be properly educated because as far as ive done my research the entirety of south Africa didn't belong to anyone only the natives had small portions of land which were their kingdoms some didn't even claim ownership of the land therefore the entire country does NOT belong to them

The true racists are the people who see the unjust discrimination happening and not saying anything about it. If you see someone treating someone unfairly based on his skin colour, keeping quiet is silent acknowledgement that you agree. Maybe not to you, but to the guy doing the bad things, if no one tells him it’s wrong, if no one holds him accountable he will believe that he is doing nothing wrong

Just bear in mind the online community isn't indicative of reality. It's a) a very particular set of people that engage in it, and especially persons making threats. And, b) talk is cheap. Like drivers in cars and dogs behind bars there's a lot of boisterous noise. Not much comes of it... Empty vessels...

This is so rich, coming from a group that claims to be "oppressed " and experiencing an imagined " genocide"

Early 2000 a friend bought a piece of land by s farmer. More then a year later i went with him to go sign the papers. Got there the farmer told him that apparently someone bought the land in cash. Apperently he had another piece of land for a much bigger price. I will never get involved with the land issue. So dont talk about willing buyer willing seller nonsence pls.
