Perhaps the most useful video on the topic on the internet. I was struggling to adopt a north american accent (if there is such a thing) after migrating from Asia, but was not convinced that it would work. Two remarks though. From a videography point of view, I find surprising you didn't look directly at the camera lens. I think that looking straigh at the viewer is a strong way to make our speech even more assertive -- and in our occidental culture it helps in building trust. But maybe there was some reason I missed here for that choice ?

More "seriously" do you have some extra tips for people like me that are non-native English speakers and that talk with a very noticeable accent ? I know the best would be practicing and training to remove that accent. But maybe there are some tricks to help overcome that extra difficulty and maintain connection between the speaker and its audience ?
