STIHL FS 240

Stihl FS 240 cutting thick weeds and grass. FS 240 working hard. Putting the fs240 to the test. It has the grass cutter on it. Fs 240 in action. Grass cutting blade. First time. I would have done it diffrant and been better. I was going to fast.b Stihl trimmer

I run an fs 460-c with a 3 bladed brush cutter..with a setup like that I end up with a nice clean cut without having to go back. I just recently ran .105 line on my 460 and that is a beast for heavy duty trimming/cutting.

Great demo, but in my experience, you'll avoid lots of cuts on your shins if long pants are worn when using a grass trimmer. It's advisable to wear a face guard and ear plugs too.

The blade you are using is for tall Grass, for what you are cutting a three blade brush knife Will cut much better.

Thanks for taking the video man. Tired of trimmers that can't cut it. Literally. Thoughts on how much of a pain it would be to use the bike handles to edge?

Thank you for posting. IMHO, go with a better brushcutter blade, e.g., 12" x 3 teeth steel brush cutter blade (I use Amazon's choice for its economy over Stihl's) or a BrushDestructor blade (can't wait to get one). Your blade selection, is not the best - to say the least and keep it civilized.

Nice machine, nice work. However, you should not use the skirt on the guard when using a blade

I run a FS-240 and there's no way in hell I would do it in shorts.

Proper safety gear is not your strenght as i see... never mind... first time something hits you in the face and you will learn it the hard way 😂🤟
