LUUUUV me some Slade! This was one of 12 consecutive Top 5 records they had in the UK. (Including six #1s!) This only got to UK#2, stopped only by Chuck Berry's Ding-A-Ling.

Great song, I remember hearing this in the driver's-ed car in the summer of '73 and becoming a Slade fan from then on. I'm wondering why this wasn't performed "live" like most of the other acts were on here. Anyway, saw saw them live in a small theater in 1975 here in Indianapolis on the "In Flame" tour. Fantastic memories!

I was a huge Slade fan 1971-76. Still love to hear the old songs. What i liked about Slade was the sheer enthusiasm of the Boys on stage. They loved every second of it. Especialy Dave Hill. Hope the boys are well. 👍
