I cannot believe more people aren’t talking about the Danessa Myricks Bluring Balm Powder as primer or foundation. It is PHENOMINAL. It blurs, it covers but looks just like skin, and it controls my oily t-zone. I know people with dry skin who love it for the blur, too. It has totally replaced any light-light medium coverage foundation for me. I only put foundation on top of it if I’m going for medium to high medium coverage. Otherwise, it’s me, a dab of green color corrector on my cheeks, and DM Blurring Balm Powder. I will sing it’s praises every time I have a chance. Do not be afraid of it, folks. Don’t sleep on it. (I think you nailed it. People couldn’t put it immediately in a neat little box so instead of experimenting with it, they just went on to the next thing.) People really seem to be enjoying the beautiful blush, so I hope they revisit the OG.
Oh! I think I’ll get a darker shade to use as bronzer! 🥳🤗

Didn’t know this for the longest time but antiperspirants need at least 3 hours to absorb in order to work optimally. I put mine on at night after showering and reapply in the AM

Her blush in Golden Hour, freakin love it. I use it almost every day now.

I also just tried Cirque Colors nail polish, some of their jelly polishes, and I’m in love. Summer’s gonna be good man.

I agree with you re: multi-use of oils. I use for everything (and, yes, these cuticles get dry & raggedy really fast with all the hand washing and hand sanitizer use 😖). I'm tempted to try a ND concealer, but will swatch in Sephora before deciding. Hope you get some PR because I know your assessment will be 💯

I decided that I wanted to try a cream bronzer for the summer. I ordered the Tower 28 in the lightest shade. I had to return it because it looked orange on me. When I was at the store, a sales rep suggested the Saie bronzer in the lightest shade. I told her that you were trying Saie too. She just smiled. I have been using it every day and I love it. So, both of you are right. I also love the Danessa Myricks blurring balm. Thank you for all the work you do to test products and for your clear, detailed recommendations.

I agree on the DM Balm - it really does serve multiple purposes. Pat's Bronzers are all that and a WHOLE BAG of CHIPS!! I didn't get the Gucci bright coral but I did get DM in Golden Hour which I love! I need to edit my faves lol

Coming back to say I'm using the Crystal roll-on and spray about 3 years now. Lasts through my workouts and holds up in my tropical heat too.

Thank you for your concealer recommendation, I am going to try the Lancôme and Dior Skin corrector. For retinol, my very sensitive skin is happy with the Sachi Skin retinol (Ursolic acid and retinal overnight reform). I also use their exfoliator serum (Complexion clarifying accelerator) or the Mandelic acid toner by Wishtrend. Medik8 also has good retinols with varying strengths. My favorite natural deodorant right now is Lume, specifically their cream deodorant. It feels weird at first because you rub it into your skin like a lotion, but it doesn't leave marks on my clothes. If any, they're very faint. Now, it is just a deodorant, not an anti-perspirant, but when I tell you that I have not experienced BO since using it, I'm not exagerrating. I still sweat, and even after a workout, no smell.
They are aluminum and baking soda free, which is good because I just recently learned baking soda can throw off your body's natural ph balance. And I also deal with eczema, even around my armpits, like you, and this doesn't irritate me either.

My favorites this month have been my two Hourglass holiday face palettes, my Estée Lauder Doublewear foundation that I got half price during Ulta's 21 days of beauty, and my Jaclyn Cosmetics blush palette. I know ... boring! Nothing new! I've been enjoying all of my makeup that I've bought this past year and last year. 🥰

Honestly thr DM blur balm powder as a primer has made soooo many of my foundations look even better! I also use the Lancome concealer all over my face. It's Caribbean heat approved!

As far as the Secret Clinical strength deodorant I agree about the smell you're referring to but I haven't been able to find anything that works better for me.

Wonderful faves!! For me, ive been loving my Viseart petite neutral mattes palette and the BB Blends (rainbow brights/pastel mattes) palette for eyeshadow, my Milani soft matte bronzer, and my Milani baked blush. Loving my small collection this year in general. 😊
