I live in Chicago. If I commuted to work in Prius I'd waste another 45 minutes each day looking for a place to park it at work and at home. Scooters can park anywhere. Also, they're incredibly fun to drive. Bikers ride bikes for reasons other than gas milage.

I'm totally ok with motorcycles. I just prefer the convenience and ease of handling on a maxi-scooter. I just bought one of these!

It's interesting that you are putting down the scooter and comparing it to a car. Scooter and motorcycle is in the same family. It's a two wheeled vehicle and has a motor. Both fun and take you to work. Scooter has a bit better features then a motorcycle better wind and rain protection and a place to put your helmet.

Some people like the fun and zippy behavior of a two wheeled machine along with their excellent fuel mileage compared to a small car. Plus, what Prius costs just under $10k to start at?

The BMW F800GT(sport touring) cost a hair over $11, 000. Atleast with the F800GT you can take it on the highway and won't get wiped out by a passing tractor-trailer. BUT these bikes are very practical.

Why would anyone buy this when you can buy exactly what he said, a Prius which is much larger, more practical, can use in all seasons, gas the same MPG (with the Prius C) and is a hell of a lot more comfortable.

In Holland everything above 49cc is a motorcycle and you need a motorcycle license.

Yup. Bad enough they do this in like 90% of movies or TV shows, how do they plan to get away with it in this video? No Strap = No Helmet.
