No talking, just putting the shitty factory set up of the Squier Classic Vibe Jaguar to its timely death. I hope your eyeballs enjoy this one.

I found some cool tools and stuff that are not ridiculously expensive: (Affiliate Links)

Idk, but this totally made me think of the Blood Eagle from Vikings. Just the first part. You really made me choose to order this now.

Here's how I set up my CV Jag. I shimmed the neck with a guitar pick (can't remember what thickness) to increase the break angle. I restrung it with .011's which is what Leo intended for his offset designs. I later added shrink wrap to the bridge posts to eliminate any remaining rattles. That's it! Nothing else was necessary. The guitar plays great and I love the short scale. These CV's are a great value for the $$$.

Nice soothing presentation 😊 Some of the early CV Jags had the hotter Duncan Designed pickups left over from the VM Jags. Bridge DC resistance was over 13 kOhms. With the Fender designed pickups they also put the bridge and neck pickups in the wrong positions. Neck measured 6.2 kOhms and bridge measured 5.8 kOhms. I also turned my bridge pickup round 180 degrees for the same claw orientation,

Today I shimmed the neck with two stewmac shims, one 0, 5 and one 0, 25 and raised the bridge about 3 mm . Got a sitar like sound from the g string, so I filed the slot and now I'm fine with the result . Plays smooth now . Lovely guitar indeed . I'll put 11th on this guitar, can't wait

I appreciate the over produced quality of this. I too overproduced a video once. No Foley artistry in mine but still. Excellent effort and result.

I have two classic vibe jaguars and jazzmaster that I heavily modified with nitro paint and descendent bridge and vibrato and I installed 92D wiring harnesses and they’re my favorite guitars I’ve ever owned. I don’t ever play my dunable’s or vintage Gretsch guitars anymore.

That was so intense until the happy music came on and gave me a hug from inside

Top tip from one of your other videos, get that pivot point on the trem smooth. No need to upgrade👍

The fake sound effects are so hilarious lmao

Threw a buzz stop on mine and a MIJ trem on it, cts pots, and a 3 way selector. I have a SD hot rail and lil 59 sitting around and this video definitely makes me want to throw it in my jag

Have recently got an unplayed Vintage Modified Squier Jaguar (Olympic White/Red Tort) from 2015. I'm throwing some money at it.
*Staytrem Bridge - correct radius & string spacing.
*Fender Pure Vintage 65 pickups - because they're relatively cheap.
*Fender locking vibrato - just better, not too expensive.
*Staytrem arm - am used to a Bigsby.
*Stewmac maple shims a la Puisheen
*Bone nut
*Power Slinkys (0.11s)
I think that will put a few Fenders to shame.
Have I gone too far, any of these not necessary?

What kind of pickup did you put in the bridge? I’ve been looking for one that will fit inside the existing claw.

How to wire the ground in the bridge Bush? Just pushed It in the Bottom.of.the.hole?

What is the Tool kit you're using? Looks like it has virtually everything we could need.

You installed the Duncan pickup in the neck position, but by the end of the video it magically moved to the bridge position?

No neck shim? I keep seeing people say that it’s nearly impossible to set a jag/jazzmaster up without a neck shim?

What type of pickup do you install in the neck position?

Nice video! What do you do to the vibrato exactly? Mine always slightly detunes the guitar.
