I can’t believe I’ve been watching a man build and upgrade his own pond for years. Life is amazing!

You should stock gizzard shad in your pond. They will spawn twice as much as the threadfin. They will make your bass MUCH bigger MUCH faster than threadfin because they survive much better.

I absolutely love this channel. It’s been a joy to watch you over the years build this pond watching the Eagles come every time you stock bait all the different stuff you use from fish feeders to lights to the pumps the underwater cameras it’s just absolutely amazing. thank you for taking us on this journey from your viewer in San Diego California, 🇺🇸 USA

Glad you enjoyed Chicago! It is a wonderful city especially in the summer.

I'm thinking you might try building a low railing around the eagle tower. It will make it easier for the eagles to land, they don't seem to like landing on a flat slick bare wood deck.

I love these videos. One of my favorite channels. I didn’t know you were in Chicago. That’s my hometown. It is a great city… even though we get a lot of bad publicity. I still feel perfectly safe here.

From what I understand about the fawns is that when they are recently born the momma keeps her distance and comes in during the nighttime to feed them. This is due to her having a trackable scent and the fawns not having one. So she gets their strength up when they are newly born, once they are strong enough that they can keep up with momma then they go with her. Until then she nurses them and keeps her distance and watches. I have seen several fawns where I work that seem to be left alone and momma isnt far from them. Eventually they will be strong enough to stick with momma.

I just wanna leave this comment as appreciation.

Im no fisherman, hell im not even an outdoorsman. I don’t typically watch this type of content from other channels. But for the past 4 years now, your the only youtuber that im actively waiting for the next episode. Sure i have my other favourites in different categories of youtube, but none that im actively waiting for! I regularly check your channel to check when the last post was made cause ik that every 2-3 weeks you release a video and when it hits week 2 with no video my anxiety/anticipation gets going😂

Thanks for sharing what you ❤️!

Great video! I love the wildlife that live all around your pond, it's fabulous. Also I hope Hurricane Helene didn't wreck the property too much, it's been awful all over! Wishing you and your family the best.

Really nice update. I’ll be moving to Florida in a few years (retirement). I can’t wait to go bass fishing year round. I get maybe 5 months on Long Island, NY. I do have to say, the Northern strain of Largemouth are far more aggressive than the Florida strain. I catch some that are nearly the same size as the stick baits they attack. I used to live in Orlando, FL and most likely it’s where I’m retiring.
