Getting Started with PyScript [2023]

Would love to see a full in-depth tutorial on PyScript. Every video I can find is just a surface level introduction like this

What are you using to get that color/font theme in your IDE

I tried running a simple Python program with PyScript using the Chrome browser but I couldn't get my text to show up in the pop-up box that requests user input. It replaced the text in my Python code with "This page says". I am able to input the appropriate data and the program works, but a user would have no clue what to enter. What am I missing? Do I need to know some JavaScript to make this work?
