How to apply a transfer!

1. Prepare your surface. The surface you are applying the transfer to should be clean, smooth, and dry. Wait 24 hours after paint application. If it is dirty or rough, you will need to clean it with a white Lightning and water solution.
2. Remove the backing from the transfer. The backing is the paper that the transfer is printed on. Be careful not to tear the transfer when you are removing the backing.
3. Place the transfer on the surface. The transfer should be face down on the surface. Use a credit card or other flat object to smooth out any air bubbles.
4. Rub the transfer with a burnishing tool. The burnishing tool is a hard rubber tool that will help to transfer the image to the surface. Rub the transfer in a circular motion, applying firm pressure.
5. Check the transfer to make sure it is adhered to the surface. If there are any areas that are not adhered, you can rub them again with the burnishing tool.
6. Seal the transfer with a clear sealant. This will protect the transfer from fading and damage.

Just a thought....use some gold rub-n- buff to make the pulls pop.

I love the way it turned out. However I might have chosen to just put another mirror in it the way u found it as well. I would have liked it either way.
