And he just steps up and stripes it. No messing about. Effortless, and a swing that will keep him playing for a LONG time. Come on Ryder Cup!!

I'm seeing more DP tour in my algorithm online. I didn't ask for it but I really appreciate it.

Love the description of muscles being like elastic bands. Probably best to leave muscle physiology to an (err) expert maybe.

Don't be fooled by the smoothness of his backswing. It it very fast too, making it a more natural and athletic movement. Works for me (I'm 6 ft 3 with long arms too ;o)

Looks so effortless but we were watching him on the range and he has to be in the upper 10% power wise. He absolutely stripes it. Looks as smooth as a Ken Griffey Jr baseball swing

But he is fluid and tension, free, who can't run fast if you tense your body or try control your actions.

H es as loose as goose, swings with no fear, relaxed speed, he is great to watch

*Very NICE moving without moving off the target line, built for the LONG TERM safely, and swinging the sweet spot around the world cha-ching.*

Would love to see Ludwig’s swing superimposed on Gordon Sargent’s and see differences (if any)

Jim Mclean's X-Factor in full display.
Minimum movement of the left knee and hips on the backswing against a 90⁰+ shoulder turn equals massive power for a guy this tall

Not apples to apples, but we said similar things about cam champs swing but he disappeared into the sunset 😢

I don’t understand this analysis because gears says that pga tour players hand speed spikes at the start of the downswing and their hands are actually decelerating as they reach the ball.

Hmm…I still think it’s how effectively they load and release the clubhead against the leverage points of the body such as, and especially, the hands.

How does this translate to the senior recreational player?

Would that Hand path also prevent over top swing or is it something else in his swing

It helps to be built like a defensive end to hit the ball very far.
