Here's a tip for all of you I got this tank and you're not satisfied with the flow from the pump. Take the nozzle off the end. It reduces the pump by about half. You'll gain all of the water flow you need by just simply removing the nozzle

I have the 13.5 on order. I believe it will do just nice for a couple of fish and hardy corals 🪸

Thanks for the review! I'd like to pickup this tank at some point. I always wanted a small nano tank!

Didn't know you were a Magic fan. I was born and raised an hour away from Orlando and my brother has a signed rookie Shaq jersey.

Thanks for the video. I'll be picking up one of these soon. Also, you have a PENNY Poster on the background so, You're cool!

Peninsula is for 3 sides of water - like Florida where Orlando is on ur sweater it’s a peninsula state since it’s got water on 3 sides

Hey, great video. Do you know if the regular spec V can be converted to saltwater (fish only) with it's stock equipment? Thanks.

Curious, how does the skit in the return line work? Or I guess, is it just small enough that some water Flores’s out of it, but the majority goes back into the tank?

The slit in the back wall makes little difference to the flow. I added a hydor nano 240 for flow, I also am using only the biomax pack and a small bag of seachem matrix in the filter compartment, nothing else, a small heater and the hydor nano on the back wall. Water changes, and everything is good. The light supports low flow, low light corals like lps easily enough lighting for those. Too bad you gave it a bum review, I feel you probably neglected the tank to the point it started to fail. Its a small tank and if you don't maintain it, with simple regular maintenance, its will slowly fail to the point where you dislike it and give up on it. Its easier to do the maintenance than to try to revive it later after a period of neglect.

Have you considered just running your heater a little hotter to get the right temp in the display tank?

The fluval tanks are great, for what they they function better if you have a decent light. The stock light is a pile of crap. Upgrade to a much more powerful lighting system and a little minor tweaking on the filtration and a tank runs like a charm

Never plug that hole in the back of the wall! It prevents the chambers from drying up and keeps your heater submerged.
