its nice to see sifu sergio, with no experience in vietnamese wing chun previously but with a solid background in other styles, be able to play chi sao so well. guess we are one family then.

Interesting to see Snake Hand technique in Chi Sao applications. Very fluid movements not using outer strength but using redirected Chi energy of the opponent. Simply beautiful and graceful as the young girl Wing Chun or even as the priestess Ng Moi would have reacted to a man's forceful movements. Beautiful. Thank you!

Wow you guys are totally missing the point of the video, which is respect toward the different styles.

1 toughens 1's arms enough to function as deflectors, on the dummy, one practices 1's posture to ingrain the correct pressure/angle & not overshoot, or else 1 lands at an suboptimal angle where 1 resorts to muscle to regain position. If 1 trains to directly toughen one's arms via forceful iron training, neurons get trained to land the arms in those exact positions where 1 must rely on toughness. Train arms to fall in the right angle, rather than the wrong angle for the sake of toughened arms.

I really like their way of chi sao.

Similar chi sau to spinning hands of I Liq Chuan

And I do think that wing chun should be internal and use relaxed muscles and redirecting forces but why not discuss it like decent human beings.

If they curve their back, and used that structure, this is very good stuff. Some of it was just too nice, and I don't like the hooks, which leave the sticking range and leave one open to easy counter, but... it's a good start.

That's what I mean, which is exactly what you guys are arguing about like two complete lunatics. Just respect what other people do instead of insulting each other back and forth. what's wrong with you guys?

I know he has female students from his promo video. And I saw their futile methodologies. He is training them incorrectly even in basic drills like lop-da. You don't bang on the opponent's forearm in lop-da like they do in the video. THAT is brute force training. WC is much more sophisticated than what is shown in the video. Banging on arms. Good lord.

Why bring up kneecaps, throats, balls? Most disciplines teach these targets so don't make it sound like WC has a monopoly on such things.

Apparently you don't know anything about the "principles and concepts of wing chun" either. Thanks for chiming in. Keep up all that stiff hard hitting and call it wing chun if you want. Your temper suits Klaus's 'brand' of wing chun too I see.

"Grandmaster" Klaus "Brand" "Wing Chun".... what a joke. That guy is a prime example of what happens to egomaniacs who don't have what it takes to learn original WC principles correctly. Might as well call it Koykushin Karate Wing Chun.
