How to Paint a Realistic White Westie Dog in Watercolor

In this video I'm sharing my process for painting this sweet and expressive white West Highland Terrier puppy dog portrait! I'll show you how I use wet in wet, wet on damp, wet on dry, and layering techniques to create complex white fur (without going too dark!)

funny story about a Westie ... I painted one on a big rock with acrylics for a co-worker of their dog - they put it on the floor in their living room, and when the real dog came through the door, it went berserk barking at it - it took 15 minutes for it to get close to it! hahaha
