@Daggerwin im a real life trucker for 10 years, pro tip on coupling trailers on.
Lower the truck fully, reverse under the trailer until the middle fenders is about under the front of the trailer, then lift the truck fully, and back in to the king pin, bonus by doing this is the trailer support legs are up in the air and easy to raise :)

Edit: i think your interior issue may be due to the volvo fh4 rework that scs debued in 1.53 so if your save is made before the update with the volvo fh you may need to go to the workshop and reconfigure the interior

I haven't played ETS2, but have played ATS. I love these games! They're extremely chill. There's just enough going on with the game mechanics to make you want to keep playing, getting better and expanding your trucking empire. It's been a while since you've done an ETS2 series. Would be an excellent series for you to start up again.

25:16 little tip; You can download the minimal route advisor from the Steam Workshop so you all the route information at the bottom of your screen in a small bar and can you turn off the onscreen navigation.

Just a note on picking trailers up... Suspension down, reverse under, Raise legs (which you forgot), then fully raise suspension, then normalise suspension. On dropping trailers... Lower legs, lower suspension, move forward, raise suspension, normalise suspension.

I just get into the habit of doing it every time and every pick-up and drop goes without a hitch (excuse the pun).. 👍

ETS its really detailed, i remember times ago, i just stop i middle of nowhere in germany, and had a turbine on my left. I go to google maps, and in real life theres a turbine at same spot.

It’s really nice to see a brand new series in ETS2 this is going to be a very interesting series maybe drive all through Europe again and keep leveling up and take high paid jobs which will really help I like the Volvo truck amazing

you can instal a mod named yara (I think it is available in the steam workshop). This keeps details on the screen but you can hide the map. this is done with the F3 button in default settings. Nice to see ets2 again.
