Lyrics

Oh when I say something
I wish I had shut up (oh!)
And when I try to help,
I always screw things up (oh!)

The places that feel right,
They never last too long (oh!)
And when I think of things,
They always turn out wrong

Oh! Oh!
Oh! Oh!

Oh when I say something
Nobody backs me up (oh!)
When I try by myself,
I mess it up (oh!)

Oh when they say something
You always suck it up (oh!)
And when I try to help
It never is enough

Oh! Oh!
Oh! Oh!

What can I do, what can I do?
What can I say, what can I say?
What can I do, what can I do?
Nothing changes it’s all the same

Why do I say something
Say anything at all (oh!)
It seems that when I try
I always take the fall (oh!)

But when I don’t speak up
There’s nothing but regret (oh!)
I can’t stop thinking of
What could’ve happened next

Oh! Oh!
Oh! Oh!

What can I do, what can I do?
What can I say, what can I say?
What can I do, what can I do?
Nothing changes it’s all the same

Oh! Oh!
Oh! Oh!
Oh! Oh!
Oh! Oh! Oh! Oh!

Epitaph Records is an artist-first indie label founded in Los Angeles by Bad Religion guitarist, Brett Gurewitz. Early releases from a variety of punk heavyweights helped launch the 90s punk explosion. Along the way, Epitaph has grown and evolved creatively while sticking to its mission of helping real artists make great recordings on their own terms.

I hope these ladies make it massive and inspire kids back into making noise in their garages again.

I am a 285 pound bodybuilder & this song came on our gym's high tech loudspeakers today. Just want to let you know, you had 7 giant male bodybuilders aged 29-50 bopping to your song. Punk Rock has returned to LA, *thanks to you*! Viva Punk Rock! Love from a bunch of LA gym gorillas! ❤️🔥🎸

I'm old enough to have been a young adult when bands like The Ramones and Blondie were in their heydey. This is the first new band to really excite me in ages. They are awesome!!

Why is this band all the sudden putting out the best punk rock music I've heard in years?? Rock isn't dead and these young ladies are proof!

These girls kick ass. Remind me of a cross between The Go Go’s, Bikini Kill, and The Donna’s all mashed together. Totally awesome!

Thank you Green Day for giving this band to play a song during the Philly show in Citizens Bank Park! This song is a perfect introduction to The Linda Lindas!

I'm a middle aged old punk and never gave the music up-why should I? These amazing young women instill some faith in the future. That means a lot in these insane times.I just wish there were more people like them.

I"m an 8'4" lumberjack & this song came on mysteriously in the North woods today. Just want to tell you you had 12 giant, male lumberjacks aged 7 to 70 punching moose to your song. Punk rock has returned to the wilderness, "thanks to you!" Viva Punk Rock! Love from a bunch of tree-cutting silverback mandrills!

I was on the fringes of the music industry in 79 to 81, had friends that made it and a lot that didn’t. This band has struck a note in me that I thought was dead, I love the simplicity and the drive of the guitars. The lyric structure is awesome. And they sing about stuff that means something to them. (I’m 61 I had to google Claudia kishi)

Such a fun song! Between the visuals & the sound I can't help think The Donnas walked so these girls could run. ❤

Saw them performing this song live at Rock am Ring last weekend. It was a real pleasure to see them enjoying their time on stage and see a teenage dream so many of us dreamed of comming true. You could really feel how the energy of their performance caught the crowd. Wish you all the best and hope you are comming back to Germany someday.

Give these girls some love!!!! As an old mosh pit veteran (Ramones, Dead Milkmen, Mojo Nixon, etc) I just love these girls! I'm 58 but I'll jump in their mosh pit right now! Keep going Girls!
