Commonly, inline torque sensors are used in test rigs for motor, pump, valve, and engine testing, to assess actual performance of the current and newly developed products, and improve their efficiency.

In connection to the marine market, Datum’s Marine Shaft Power Meters are permanently installed on vessels for real-time condition monitoring , improving maintenance scheduling, and reducing operational costs.
