Absolute love mine! In the best words I have owned a BMW M3, and a Honda Civic type R, and a Stinger for the last few years on lease. Last week when my lease was up my 2019 stinger my salesman showed me this K5 and man it was love at first sight! Sporty but at the same time daily! Perfect blend, all I can say is it’s like driving a brand new BMW for a budget price. I absolutely love driving this car and 100% recommend purchasing one for your own! If you do wind up getting one don’t settle for cloth interior! Get the leather with all the bells and whistles! The seats are comfortable and easy to clean!

I got the base Gt-Line in this wolf grey, non-awd, 8" vs. 10" touch screen w wireless Android auto/apple car play, no pano roof or red leather.. Only paid 24k... My best car purchase ever!

Hyundai and Kia are making high quality, reliable and fun to drive cars that people actually want now, no other manufacturer is making their cars more fun to drive, luxurious or as interesting as Hyundai and Kia at such an affordable price, if you don’t want to admit that Hyundai and Kia are impressive and continue saying that “every other manufacturer is doing what Hyundai and Kia are doing”, then have fun sticking to the past

You can get the premium package without the awd. Mine has the red leather/sunroof with forward collision warning and braking but not heated seats or awd

I've been a proud owner of the Kia K5 GT-Line AWD sedan for almost a year. But let me tell y'all. Save yourself the money and don't bother with opting for the premium package that comes with the autostart. 1.) When you use the autostart, there is no visual indication that the car actually started (beyond a quick flash of the DRL - if you happen to catch it and even then there's no guarantee that it actually started because it's very finicky.) 2.) The car will only run for exactly 10 minutes and at a maximum temp of just 72F. There is no way to change this. Obviously those of us who live in Northern, wintry climates know that this is a joke if you're expecting to defrost your car and have it warm and toasty for you when you go out. The only way around this is the old way. Put on your sweats and coat and go out and start the car manually! I don't know what Kia was thinking with this but the autostart feature as it stands right now is a total fail. Instead, go for a third party autostart option that will probably be a LOT cheaper than the package that provides this feature from Kia. I wish I had done my homework ahead of time.

Car Play and Android auto are wired to USB with the Bigger Screen. Only Wireless with the smaller Screen.

The larger 10 inch display doesn't have wireless carplay, just the smaller 8 inch one

Like the looks, not the restricted interior though compared to the Korean spec model... also don’t like how the top of the dash above the gauge cluster is hard plastic, same with the rear top door panels, previous gen had nicer interior materials. Overall, disappointed was hoping for more.
