My name is Brian and I was thinking of making your shawl of solitaire pattern and I have a ball of lace weight yarn by sun valley fibers that is 80%merino and 10%cashmere and 10%nylon and has 800YDS/skein and the color is color cactus bloom and I was wondering if the yarn I have will work for the project as well as what needles I should use if you could let me know this I’d appreciate but if the yarn doesn’t work for this particular project I would love you to help me find a beginner friendly lace shawl or cowl or bag pattern I can make with the yarn I have also the pattern has you do a SK2P stitch but it doesn’t tell you in the pattern whether you slip the knitwise or purlwise with the yarn In the front or back of the work so if you can let me know how to do this SK2P stitch I would really appreciate it
