Installing Ubuntu On VMWare EXSI 8.0

I was having some difficulties installing Ubuntu as a virtual machine on VMware ESXI 8.0 the free edition. After some fiddling around I was able to get it to work. Here is a video showing what I experienced and what was done to fix it. I truly hope it helps someone out there.

Attempting to start up from:
- EFI Virtual Disk (0.0) ... No Media
- EFI VMware Virtual SATA CDROM Drive (0.0) ... Not Found.
- EFI Network ...
