Sawyer Mini Water Filter Lab Test Results Review- Does it work and Remove 99.99999% of Bacteria ?

I had the source water and filter water tested by an independent lab for bacteria. I was very happy with the results.

Thank you for posting substantive information on this product. The typical "it looked good to the naked eye" or "I drank it and didn't get sick" reviews are nearly useless.

How do you not have more views for this??? Sawyer Mini's are the best. I take mine through Shenandoah every weekend, but only use it at water sources above the heavily traveled roadways since it doesn't filter out chemicals.

Thank you SO much! There's a lot of anecdotal "testing" on the Sawyer mini on YT. I appreciate you spent a little cash so we could all have some real results and assurances. I've wanted to buy one but I've been on the fence. I'm getting one now for sure! A great tool to have on hand just in case.

I did research project in school on water purification methods, and after repeated trials the sawyer did not allow any bacteria to pass through the filter. Aquamira and iodine (while useful against viruses) were no match for the bacteria filtering abilities of the Sawyer.

Thank you for taking the time to do this, gives me great peace of mind too. But a little advice, it's way better for you to boil the water to get rid of viruses rather then using the drops.

For those if you suggesting to filter 20000 gallons and then have it retested go do it yourself. Filtering 20000 gallons of water will take quite a bit of time. Hopefully this guy had something better to do.
