all alone in cologne | my first time in germany!

pigeon flocks. hospitable strangers. cursed dolls. chocolate donuts. What more could you want from a city? This was my first time in Germany, my first time immersed in a 100% German-speaking environment, and although it was hard to get out of my comfort zone, it was freaking awesome. I get better at this every time I take a trip-- each step strengthens me, each missed bus humbles me, and every small thing makes it even more worth it. I hope you guys get to see this wonderful city with your own eyes someday, but for now, let me bring you along.

I got so much nostalgia from this!! I used to live in Cologne and even in Ehrenfeld where you seem to have spent most of your time!! I even went to mundolingo all the time before covid :) hope you liked Cologne!

Dieses Jahr habe ich Köln besucht. Es war wahrscheinlich die beste zwei Monate in meinem Leben. Ich war in Köln während des Karnevals und die deutsche sind sehr sehr lustig mitzufeiern.
