Temperatures on Thursday will remain in the lower 100s thanks to the westerly breeze moving onshore, but that's still unseasonably hot for the valley. The Kern River Valley will continue to see the lower 100s, with 90s in the South Mountains, plus another chance for afternoon thunderstorms.
