Create Custom Backgrounds with this Microsoft Teams Hack - Office 365

Do you want to use your own custom photos as a virtual background in MS Teams? With the latest version and this hack...Josh Bush shows you what to do in 3 easy steps to get the custom virtual background you want in Microsoft Teams.

Microsoft Teams just recently updated to allow virtual backgrounds other than their stock blur feature. This microsoft teams tutorial video will show you where to copy your photos in a hidden folder allowing you custom backgrounds before the feature is fully available by Microsoft 365.

Three Easy Steps to Custom Backgrounds:
1.) Update to most recent version
2.) Ensure "Show Background Effects" Option is Available
3.) Upload photos (1920x1080 preferable) to C:\Users\[YourUsernameHere]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Teams\Backgrounds

Restart Teams and navigate to custom backgrounds. Scroll down past stock images to find your own photos for backgrounds. Office 365 is constantly updating so this will be easier and less technical in the future.

when I have multiple people on the session the background which has my logo on one top corner gets cropped off the page . Is there any way to make the background responsive? or how should I handle a logo placement so that it is visible on most configurations with two or more participants?

This won’t work in the classroom. Teachers have the ability to block things like this based off of policies. Won’t work, don’t listen.
